SCM Statement of Purpose

We, the missionaries of SCM,

motivated by the love of GOD, in

cooperation with the Government and

Non-government Organizations

and with the support of our

beneficiaries and in partnership

with the Indigenous Cultural

Communities and Maguindanao

Muslims do hereby commit ourselves to:

Promote an integrated approach

towards total human development;

Develop and protect the positive

culture and values of Indigenous

Cultural Communities an

Maguindanao Muslims;

Adopt and practice a participatory

process;

Actively support in their continuing

struggle to legalize their rights to ancestral

domain and self-determination;

Actively involved in the advocacy and

implementation of programs and activities

to promote, protect and restore the

enviroment.

The indigenous Cultural Communities

and Maguindanao Muslims in

the service areas of St. Cruz Mission

protecting their Ancestral Domain,

proud of and preserving their

cultural heritage, live harmonyusly

with God´s creation, a community

of trust, justice, peace and love

where their human potencials

are fully and integrally developed

(spiritually, economically,politically,

environmentally and socially)

Empowered they become self-reliant

And self-sustaining.
